ATTENBERG LUX PRIZE FINALIST
"Attenberg" has been announced as one of three Finalists for the European Parliament's 2011 LUX Film Prize. Athina Rachel Tsangari will present the film in September at the 2011 Venice Film Festival, where the films in contention for the LUX prize are being screened. The winner will be announced on November 16.

DOGTOOTH AT THE OSCARS
“Dogtooth,” directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, has been nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film Academy Award for 2011. Athina Rachel Tsangari was an associate producer on Dogtooth, and HAOS Film is currently producing Lanthimos’ next film “ALPS” for the Spring of 2011.

TSANGARI’S SLOW BIZ IN ATHENS
Athina Rachel Tsangari's feature film The Slow Business of Going (2001) and film short FIT (1995) have been selected by the Greek Film Archive Foundation to be screened at the 6th Avant Garde Film Festival, as part of the "Female Greek Directors - Women in Motion" tribute (organised in collaboration with the Greek Film Centre).
The screening will take place on Thursday 15 October 2009 at 22:30, in Room B of the newly opened Greek Film Archive Foundation headquarters (Megalou Alexandrou 134-136).
